We sourced 13 terrifying objects of aural tortures and pressed them against some unforgiving surfaces. Using various microphones (incl. Rode NTG3 / Neuman KMR81, Barcus Berry Contact Mic and the Luhd PM-01AB) we scraping, dragging, scratching and brutalising everything we could find.
The final result we put together was
